With the view to ensure an active and responsive local self governance through enhancing participation of women influencing decision making and to establish linkage with Govt. and PRIs for effective realization of anti poverty programme in district Jehanabad and Masaurhi Block Patna district. We have taken several initiatives in the form of seminar, workshop, and conference involving PRI representatives, Govt. officials and Media persons. The women of the community who were earlier used to be behind Pardas are encouraged to participate in the Gram Sabha meetings.  The elected women representatives of Panchayat are trained in leadership development to be able to discharge their responsibilities more effectively.  Our above efforts have yielded better results and women have started participating in Gram Sabha and Elected Women Panchayati Raj Representatives (EWR) have started exercising their power in right manner for the benefit of the below poverty line people.  The Hunger Project, KFO, Austria & DFID/PACS programme supports this programme.
